Our research partners come from across the museum and university sectors. We work with them in a number of ways.
The Collaborative Doctoral Partnership (CDP) scheme offers up to three PhD studentships per year at a number of UK higher education institutions that partner with either us, the Bowes Museum or York Museums Trust.
The MA programmes give students the opportunity to involve the Gallery in their study for a postgraduate qualification. We also have a number of ad hoc partnerships with a range of national and international institutions.
A consortium of the ÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â and the Bowes Museum has been awarded three doctoral studentships per year over four years as part of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) Collaborative Doctoral Partnership scheme. Each institution is able to offer studentships in partnership with higher education institutions, to enable students to study for a PhD at a UK university.
