About
ÁùºÏ²ÊÔ¤²â has one of the greatest collections of Nicolas Poussin’s paintings in the world, now newly displayed among other French 17th-century works.
This tour, led by expert guide Muriel Carré, is an invitation to rediscover the art of this French artist who captured the ‘spirit of antiquity’ while in Rome where he spent most of his career. His art is a marriage of poetry and reason, sensibility and intellect, immaculate lines and brilliant colours and gives a vision of a reimagined and intensified past.
This is a guided walking tour through the collection for which headsets will be provided. Please meet at the Information Desk in the Sainsbury Wing Foyer.
